Ebay Auction for Missing Children

Dear Julie,

I found your children’s illustrations blog, and wanted to let you know about some original pieces by children’s illustrators being auctioned by my charity, PACT -- Parents & Abducted Children Together. We are auctioning them on eBay; you can find some cards at http://bit.ly/ShirleyHughes-balloon and http://bit.ly/QuentinBlake-balloon . In addition to Shirley Hughes and Quentin Blake were also lucky to get designs by Nick Park, creator of Wallace and Gromit; and Elmo of Sesame Street – to go online later.

We hope you'd like to visit the auction; in addition, would you consider posting information about it on your blog? The auction, called ‘PACT with STARS’, will be live for another few days with more cards to be added.

We launched ‘PACT with STARS’ to mark International Missing Children's Day on May 25th. The auction will continue on eBay for the next month; we have over 100 celebrity contributors. Find the full auction at http://bit.ly/FindKids. Each celebrity contributed an original design on a card we sent them that was pre-printed with a balloon, which is the symbol of International Missing Children's Day. The variety of the contributions is remarkable.

Thank you for your time. If you could help us make our auction for missing children a success, we'd be grateful.

Best wishes,

Ann Bevan
